This explains what First Academies collects, why, who it's shared with, and the choices you have. First Academies is operated by Saffron and Green Consulting Ltd (registered in England & Wales, company number 09573707, registered office 860–862 Garratt Lane, London SW17 0NB), the data controller for the information described below.
At sign-up: your name, email address, selected plan, and an optional short description of the leadership challenge you want help with.
As you use the programme: your leadership assessment answers and the scores calculated from them; everything you write to the AI coach; journal entries; the full leadership-challenge worksheet (your challenge, stakeholders, constraints, experiments and results); learning records you submit per module; any worksheets you save; community posts (visible to other members with community access); and session-booking requests and notes.
This list is intentionally direct: several of these fields are free text, and some people use them to describe real workplace situations, including things colleagues said or did. Treat these fields as you would a private notebook — we do, as described below.
To run the coaching programme itself: track your progress, personalise what the AI coach discusses with you, unlock modules in sequence, and issue certificates.
To run your account: sign you in, remember your plan, and process payment if you're on a paid plan.
We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell it to anyone.
Inside First Academies, access is limited to a small, named list of site administrators — not anyone on any paid plan, regardless of tier. Administrators can see your name, email, plan and which lessons you've completed. They cannot see your AI coach conversations, journal entries, leadership-challenge worksheet, learning records, or saved worksheets — those are never shown on any administrator screen.
If you post in the community area, that post is visible to other members with community access, same as any forum.
Payment: if you're on a paid plan, the plan name and price (not your name) are shared with Stripe or PayPal to process payment — whichever one is active. Card or PayPal account details are entered directly on Stripe's or PayPal's own page and never pass through our servers.
Receipts: if email receipts are enabled, your email, name, plan and order reference are sent to our email provider (Resend) to deliver them. This isn't active yet; until it is, receipts aren't sent.
The AI coach: today, coaching conversations are processed by an AI model running locally rather than sent to an external AI provider. Once this moves to a hosted production environment, that will change to a hosted AI provider, and this notice will be updated to name it before that happens — we're not going to quietly switch this over.
We don't use any analytics or advertising trackers.
Two cookies, both strictly necessary for the site to function: one keeps you signed in, the other remembers your language choice (English or French). Neither is used for tracking or advertising, and there are no third-party cookies.
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your own account at any time from your Profile page — this immediately removes your assessments, conversations, journal, worksheets, learning records, bookings and certificates. You can also email us (see Contact below) and an administrator will do this for you instead. One exception: our internal activity log, used to track account changes for security purposes, keeps a short text record of some actions (like account creation) that can include your name and email even after deletion — this log isn't publicly visible and isn't used for any other purpose.
Under UK data protection law you can ask to see what we hold about you, correct it, have it deleted, or ask us to stop processing it. Contact us using the details below and we'll respond within a month.
First Academies is a professional leadership-coaching tool, intended for working adults. It isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
Questions about this notice, or a request about your data: firstacadamies@gmail.com.
If this notice changes in a way that matters — a new third party, a change to what we collect — we'll update the date at the top and, where appropriate, let members know.
